My name is Kwesi Keteni. I was born in Ghana, the youngest child in a family of 9. I came to the United States to pursue an education, but my journey to this country took me beyond academics. My journey has taken me through much difficult soul searching – a search that still continues but has brought me to an understanding that I need Jesus in my life, and the decision to give up my own plans and timetable for God’s. In doing so, I have found great pleasure in serving Him and experiencing His divine presence. The scripture that speaks most to my calling to serve as deacon comes from Ephesians 6:7 “Render service readily with goodwill, as to the Lord and not to men.”
